puckloo39 5,686 Report post Posted August 5, 2011 Honestly, as nuts as things are now, I can't picture myself 10 years from now... 10 days from now is a stretch. I am hopeful we will all be better off a decade from now. The person below me wants to slap somebody right now.
55fan 5,133 Report post Posted August 5, 2011 As long as it's not a cop, Mr. Avery, go ahead. Actually, I do, but it's someone on another place on the internet who I've never met and don't talk to, so it amounts to nothing. The person below me would leggo my eggo. Jenny 315 Report post Posted August 5, 2011 Well, of course. I'm not so mean as to steal someone else's waffles. The person below me has used toasted waffles as the "bread" for a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. (It's delicious, I swear!)

55fan 5,133 Report post Posted August 6, 2011 Actually, I will be. The manager asked me to come in early tonight. So I asked him (since it had been over a year since my annual evaluation) whether if he did my evaluation I'd get a raise or if he'd be wasting ink telling his boss that I suck. He looked it up, noted that I was due, and said he'd get right on it. So I'm going in early tonight with a smile on my face. The person below me will now tell us their favourite kind of soup. 55fan 5,133 Report post Posted August 6, 2011 It was a bit disjointed. Seeing the film in its entirety would be helpful. The person below me brushes the teeth on the left side of their mouth first.
puckloo39 5,686 Report post Posted August 7, 2011 yes, because I am right-handed. Dentist noted that I neglect the right side of my lower teeth, so I pay special extra attention to them now. SouthernWingsFan 854 Report post Posted August 9, 2011 Don't really think about the temperature much one way or the other down here this time of year. It's summer in Southeastern Louisiana. It's hot and humid. It's supposed to be that way. Not one to complain about temps when they are supposed to be what they are. I deal with it fine. The person below me thinks this is funny. Easy to say when your temps are normal for the region and season. Your daytime highs are lower than our overnight temps and you get rain? Not especially, on the cartoon... but that's just not my thing, I guess. The person below me has ridden a horse bare-back. SouthernWingsFan 854 Report post Posted August 10, 2011 That's because you don't live here. Easy to say when your temps are normal for the region and season. Your daytime highs are lower than our overnight temps and you get rain? Not especially, on the cartoon... but that's just not my thing, I guess. The person below me has ridden a horse bare-back. You never once mentioned drought there, and I am not talking anything about drought or lack of rain. That sucks and I don't wish that on anybody. You were talking about temperature only and I responded with temperature only accordingly. I have lived in a place all my life that has been hot and humid. I lived in the Dallas-Fort Worth area for five years when it often got hot in the 100s, and humid sometimes as well. So you can check your "I have no idea what the conditions" are like attitude at the door. Temperatures aren't changing anytime soon here or there, so it's wasted energy for me complaining about temperature numbers when they are supposed to be what they are in the summer in any area. You learn to live with it. I wish it wasn't hot, but it's not going away. It's very numbing to hear it being complained about over and over and over again not just by you but by all people when they know it's coming and are used to it. I get it. It's hot.
