puckloo39 5,686 Report post Posted August 14, 2011 Karen, sweetie... I was thinking more along the lines of lazing on a sunny beach with a good book vacation. But medication could be good, too. I assume you are not going to "transcend dental medication"? I have been to Arkansas on numerous occasions. I didn't stay long in any case. The person below me want to come over and help me sort my hockey memorabilia today. 1 55fan reacted to this

SouthernWingsFan 854 Report post Posted August 14, 2011 Not really thinking about it one way or another. I usually don't get much sleep by choice and wake up really early in the morning. I learn to live with it. The person below me thinks this stuff like this happens a lot less now with more cell phones out there. The person below me also thinks this is funny. 55fan 5,133 Report post Posted August 20, 2011 Never. I've been surprised by a sudden gust of wind blowing the door open as I was sleeping, but for some reason, I always assume that I locked it on the way in. The person below me does some sort of volunteer work (like Crymson- see the "Please help" thread. I don't have facebook, but I'll plug it to those I know who do). puckloo39 5,686 Report post Posted August 21, 2011 Yes, I do. Now that Billee has gone to her rest, I volunteer for Family Eldercare -- and love those of you who supported the fan drive this summer I also mentor adult learners at the library, helping them apply for jobs and talking with them about work ethic and how to succeed - by really trying. The person below me can't wait for Christmas! :xmas:
55fan 5,133 Report post Posted August 21, 2011 Christmas is a bit far off, and I have a lot to do in between (not to mention that I write the Children's Christmas Service for my church every year and I haven't even started on Sunday School stuff, let alone Christmas!) but I am excited for my birthday/Christmas present. Mom is taking me and my little sister to see the Red Wings in Minnesota in October! Whee! The person below me has drempt about typing on this forum.

puckloo39 5,686 Report post Posted August 23, 2011 The person below me is willing to loan friends their vehicle. Nope. That's the one possession I have besides my signed jerseys that no one else can touch. I am the only one who has ever driven Hank (my Honda), besides a mechanic, And I watch out the window to make sure they know what they are doing, as they drive him to the service bay. The person below me takes public transportation to work and errands.
55fan 5,133 Report post Posted August 23, 2011 Nope, it's just me and Stevie. I'm on the edge of the city, and the places I have to go are at night or to the other outer edge of the city. The only "public transport" that would go where and when I need to is a taxi, which would be a waste of time and fuel to send them to get me and then take me where I need to go.
