NeverForgetMac25 483 Report post Posted November 21, 2008 What a swift kick to the balls especially given their slow start.

akustyk 84 Report post Posted November 21, 2008 I really hoped to see the Stars in WCF this year but this is getting even worse for them. first they get the Avery pest, then suck big time 20 games into the season and then lose Morrow who is a huge player when it comes to serious play... I hope they'll manage to fight some playoff spot ang get in good shape in April
servo 15 Report post Posted November 21, 2008 Stars will miss the playoffs and Turco will be traded.
Guest Shoreline Report post Posted November 22, 2008 (edited) Injuries happen, and I'm sure they'll pick up the slack with someone. They have a pretty deep roster. Maybe they'll be players at the deadline for a rental. Edited November 22, 2008 by Shoreline
Statts 4 Report post Posted November 22, 2008 (edited) Injuries happen, and I'm sure they'll pick up the slack with someone. They have a pretty deep roster. Maybe they'll be players at the deadline for a rental. With the way their season has gone so far, they could be sellers. Edit: looked at the standings, Damn! I knew they were off to a bad start, but 2nd worst record behind the blues? ouch Edited November 22, 2008 by Statts
b.shanafan14 733 Report post Posted November 22, 2008 damn, that's gonna smart.... Morrow is a hell of a player and given their slow start this may not bode well for a playoff spot.
Chunkylover 26 Report post Posted November 22, 2008 This has been one crazy season so far. Dallas sucking, Boston ahead of Montreal, Detroit weak at defense, the Southeast division with two teams in the hunt, and as someone mentioned a lot of serious injuries to top-flight players. SouthernWingsFan 854 Report post Posted November 22, 2008 Ouch. Given their poor start this doesn't help, and having torn my ACL and MCL personally about 4 years ago, rehab is not fun, and is not quick. I still feel the difference in knee I junked up compared to the one that is fully healthy when I work out or, and I'm no professional athlete. Hopefully Morrow gets back as soon as he can in a healthy manner.

I knew they were off to a bad start, but 2nd worst record behind the blues? ouch Still a bit too early in the season. Dallas is only 10 points out of the rank they were last year, with 64 games to go. I don't think they'll keep up this slump, but if they do and it comes around 2-3 months from now with a similar spot in the standings, no doubt they'll do a deadline firesale. puckloo39 5,686 Report post Posted November 22, 2008 oh, poor Stars... I am sorry. I really like Morrow and admired his energy in the playoffs last season. Here's to a speedy and complete recovery for their Captain.
Detroit # 1 Fan 2,204 Report post Posted November 22, 2008 Season wont be half as much fun without getting to see Morrow play. That really sucks, espicially for Dallas. I dont think they can turn it around now, he's everything to them. Modano has been much better this year, but still doesnt match what Morrow brings. The Stars better watch themselves now though, Avery, Ott and Ribeiro and no Morrow to protect them.
The Mule 0 Report post Posted November 22, 2008 Brendan Morrow is a hell of a player. Dallas just missed the playoffs.
Hockeytown0001 7,652 Report post Posted November 22, 2008 That's exactly what they did not need. Dallas's board is calling for the swift firing of Tippet and the trade of Turco, who has been horribly mediocre to start this year.
