Jordin Tootoo injured in a fight against Bertuzzi

Jordin Tootoo got into a fight (with a fighter this time) and got hurt. The flunkies on FSN South said its was an upper body injury and will be re-evaluated this weekend!! I don't think there is a link up for it yet, it just happened, if anyone gets one, please post.

I don't like to see guys get injured, but the low class Tootoo doesn't fit this category!

Bah. Tootoo deserves to have his s*** handed to him but that was hardly a decisive fight. More like one huge dude falling on a little turd. I was really hoping to see a few huge throws from 'tuzzi's long arms and was pretty disppointed when I clicked on the link to the fight card over at hockeyfights.

Looks like he got his arm caught underneath him as he was falling to the ice (either slipped or got caught with a punch). I wouldn't be surprised if it was a shoulder or arm injury.

Good hit by Tootoo at the beginning of the clip. Can't really tell who got the best of who, but I give it to Tootoo because he got the better of the much bigger Bertuzzi, who was clearly prepared for the altercation.

For those who question Tootoo's courage, this is another example of his willingness to go with guys 6 inches and 30 pounds bigger than him. Also, can't really see any examples of dirty tactics in this clip.

Maybe he isn't such a bad guy....

Tootoo has great timing. He waits for the whistle and then does his damage. He and Barret Jackman are both complete pieces of s*** in that regard. Neither of 'em has any social redeeming value.

That was not a good hit by Tootoo. It was Bert's lazy ass being completely flat footed. Tootoo just skated into him and they both went down.

If Tootoo had stepped around him rather than skating into him his team would have been in the Calgary zone. Just dumb play by a dumb player.

I don't know beans about Jackman's value to society, but you're wrong about Tootoo. He's done quite a bit to help out his hometown.

Good on Tootoo dropping them with the much bigger Bertuzi! That kid has a pair. Bert has got to be embarassed that even with his extra 4olbs and 6 inches, he couldn't beat up Tootoo.

I hope Tootoo's injury is minor and that he makes a quick comeback. He's a fun guy to watch.
