The crowd needs to chant Ozzie's name more often. He wasn't perfect tonight, but he had some pure gold saves. Maybe this win will help him get his groove back.

It seemed like seeing his old "buddy" Legace stink it up did him some good.

Hmmm, Chris Osgood a difference maker? I'm sure some of you are having seizures over that one...

I don't see how Osgood played such a horrible game tonight. 3 PPG scored on us? That first one was fluky. You hate to see it, but it's so fluky it's tough to flip out too much over it. The second goal you take or leave it. I'd like to see him stop it but it happens. 3rd goal, can't hold it against him. He played solid when it counted, held tough in OT, won in the shoot out and for all you stats hounds, he posted a solid Sv.% considering he let in 3 goals, 1 being really fluky.

I think the end is something for Osgood to build on and carry into the next game.

OMG YESS WE WIN!

We have to play much better from here on, i mean 7 minutes straight of PP time if this was any other team we could have been in alot of trouble but it was just the bum ass blues. Ozzie was good, he did let in a softy but he was huge in the 3rd, OT and the shootout.

Huds = wahtamoove

Hossa = so calm, beautiful shot

good to get one in the W column and hopefully this helps the team change their play, sometimes a W no matter how ugly gets things going in the right direction.

GO WINGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Phew.

Damn this broadcast made it difficult to follow the game. I never saw a proper replay of the hit by Lilja so I can't say if I agree with the referees. Also each shot in the shootout was from a low angle and you couldn't see what happened until the replays.

A win is good.....but our game was still s***.

It's a strange game. On the one hand, we weren't particularly bad. And Osgood has his best period + in weeks.

But on the other hand, if Legace didn't really suck tonight, would we have scored 3 goals? Hell, would we have scored 1? At the end of the day, we still didn't separate ourselves from the Blues much.

We absolutely didn't deserve to win this game, as this was a pathetic, uninspired effort coming during a 5 game losing streak.

Nonetheless, Ozzie basically won the game for the team.

Also, even though it was a B.S. call, it was great seeing Lilja rack up some PIM's. That'll look great in the stat sheet. Anyone know what he wound up getting total?

This game was not a sexy game but we should take an importance of cutting losing streak. But if there was no Legace in the game, I really don't know what would happen.

For Osgood, he should play like play in the 3rd and OT; problem still is he is not playing like that most of games which means very inconsistent.

I think so, too. This may be what Ozzie needed. He started off damn shaky, but he got better as it went on.

Wings didn't deserve to win really... Hossa was awesome, he's the only player that looked good out there.. wings would have lost for sure if Blues would have started with Mason instead of Legace, yeah it's true.
