Guest mindfly Report post Posted February 3, 2009 No motivation (biggest factor I think) Injuries Bad Goaltending Brutal PK Kronwall has been flat out TERRIBLE for most of the season, a few golden games here and there but thats about it Rafalski has a VERY low lowest level, could play awesome but also very poorly Offense is fairly good but could be better Last couple or games or more, bad PP, mostly due to injuries to important pp-player holmstrom, and without Z the 2nd pp unit isn't that good. Chelios, Lebda and Lilja looked all stars compared to him last night. Cheli seemed to have one of his better games so far this year. Merely stating that Wings are not putting nearly enough effort into 90% of the games is not panicking. I think that if they keep playing this way we are gonna see another 1st round exit. There is nothing like playoff switch, they need to give their best game in and game out. They should be ashamed for those patethic performances through 50 or so games. I didn't write down just the reasons why they got outshot and hardly had any shots on the blues goal more like why everything is not fine, i wrote down all the reasons i could come up with. Remember those playoff games in late 90s and early 00s that the Wings would outshoot teams like 55-27 and LOSE?
