Conklin is all over the place and has been right in position. He's stopped some high-quality chances. Knowing that's in goal behind you makes the team play better, or looser, as some would put it. Of course, Conklin might let down toward the end of the game and that situation could reverse. Stick squeezing shall ensue. Neither of our goalies are consistent enough to trust this season, IMO. I love Milbury, but I think he is talking his way to the unemployment line, unless he is somehow the american don cherry Milbury is good for the game. When's the last time a broadcaster talked more then half the teams in the league? NEVER! With all the rivalrys and talking out of the game, they need someone to stimulate stuff. One of, if not the best periods I've seen Lids play this season. Classic Nick with all those seemingly effortless poke checks stripping the pens of the puck. They just cheer for Crosby, just jokers all around in all medias: TSN, CBC, and NBC. I don't know why they love Cindy a lot. He is way worse than Ovie. Yes, Malkin is good, but definitely one-dimnesional. Ovechkin is one of the best, if not the best in the NHL and should be the face of the NHL. But what about Datsyuk? Zetterberg? Hossa? Iginla? Second: Crosby is a *****, Sammy should not have gone to the box there. 100% agreement here. Yeah, Crosby whacked and hacked Sammy until Sammy finally had to defend himself. Even if Sammy went to the box alone I'm sure Babcock would have had no issue with Sammy. I just don't get why Crosby wasn't called for a penalty until AFTER Sammy had to defend himself? If Sammy would have just taken it they play would have just continued. OMMFG!!! THEY TOOK CROSBY OFF THE ICE! WHAT THE HELL ARE WE GOING TO DO PIERRE??!?!?! jesus... just had to vent. I am so glad I am going to work now and will be listening to the rest of the game on the radio. I can not stand another year of nbc. LOL, I agree. The only person that has done anything cheap so far is Crosby on Sammy. I don't understand why the NHL, Bettman, and NBC want Crosby to blow his load in their faces...
