Where did you get this?

This question also directed at fans of other teams here, it would be a good touch to be able to include the oppositions line's for the game.

I didn't "get" it anywhere, I just follow the team very closely and the team report said the lines would be the same as against Dallas, and I had those memorized. Again, I would check other teams official boards/GDTs for that info.

wow ive wondered why in the last couple of weeks the feed has gotten slower i thought that site was not really known

Agreed. I was using that site during my visit to DC since my brother-in-law doesn't have CenterIce, and I'd love for it to stay on the DL. Unfortunately, the Preds have it listed within their GDT as well.

I just don't think its possible to keep the free streaming links under wraps. Sopcast got big, got shut down and people moved on. The same thing will happen here. I didn't find out about atdhe.net from this forum, and its unlikely the preds forum did. Atdhe.net will continue to be the goto stream as long as the quality remains high, its free, and of course it doesn't get shut down.

It absolutely isn't, but its always nice to hang on to these types of sites as long as you can.

As a Nashville resident, this is personally is always one of the most important games of the season, just for bragging rights and all that. The Preds have really started to pick up their play as of late and theyre starting to find some chemistry in these new line combos. And as many have already seen, the Preds play their best hockey of the season against the Wings.

Should be a good one. Hopefully our improved defense holds and our big guns up front keep rolling.

Wings 3, Preds 2

Hmm, they got squashed for more than a month last season and I assumed it died. The point remains that it isn't nearly as popular as it was.

Perhaps it would be better if people didn't announce the streaming links on this board. I think most of the GDT regulars know where to go to find the links, if keeping them off the boards helps preserve the site for even a day longer, to me it would be worth it. Without the links, I wouldn't be able to watch the games, seeing as I'm stuck in Hickville (not the actual town's name), NC.

But you can get NHL Center Ice... us europeans can't though.

Are the wings really motivated and excited enough to play nashville this time of year?

I'd say yes.

I myself and I'm sure the Wings are hoping that their Jan/Feb skid is long gone and won't turn into anything like last years Feb catastrophe. I expect the Wings to hit the ice strong tonight despite still being down Franzen and Holmstrom. They know they have to play hard to counter the playoff type mentality I'd expect Nashville to bring tonight..especially since a game against last year's champs and division rivals will likely be the closest thing to a playoff-type atmosphere the Preds will probably see the rest of the season.

I'd say the Wings counter a 5 game winless streak with a 5th straight victory tonight.

4-2

Sure I could, but I can't afford it. So in reality, it's like it's not available to me. I'm in essence, in the same boat as you are. Without the streaming links, I'd be unable to watch the games.

That's not the same thing, here it isn't even available but it is over there, so just stop buying unnecessary stuff and order center ice

There's this "ESPN360" available in Europe but quality is far from Center Ice so you can't really compare it.

Other than that we only have 1 random game on Canal+ every night and a channel called ESPN America (former NASN) but only about 15% of the population can get it... so basically people can watch 1 game per night, at 1-4:30am in the morning... if we're lucky it's 3-4wings game per month that we can see on television...

NHL really need to expand with their broadcasts, this is getting rediculous.

Nhltorrents is a nice thought but many uploaders don't have a good connection so if the game is uploaded 5-6hours after the game it can take sometimes more than 12hours to finish the download due to uploaders bad connection... and how are you suppose to avoid red wings news and stuff for a whole day.. i did it twice it nearly killed me :P

I use that site cause you can only watch so many Cansucks, flamers and deadmonton games before you go insane.

I need center ice :(

Excuse you. First of all, when I say I can't afford it, that means I can't afford it. I work part-time and had to move back in with my parents because I couldn't afford rent. So why don't you tell me what "unnecessary stuff" you think I need to stop buying so I can afford NHL Center Ice. For you to think that my financial situation is so cut-and-dry a simple admonishment from you would fix it, is really insulting.

So let me say it again......for me, the online streaming links are the only way that I can watch the games.

I'm confused... do you watch center ice on tv or is it internet stream based?

Center Ice is TV or internet based, Game Center is internet based.

Just quickly googling a few things, It looks like:

Center Ice Online: $200

Center Ice TV: $170

Game Center: $96

Looks like center Ice TV covers regular season and rounds 1 and 2 of the playoffs.

I haven't dug around enough to see what the 2 online services include as far as playoffs go.

Looks like Game Center is the best deal, especially because it says you can pane 4 separate games simultaneously.

I travel a lot and have considered springing for the Game Center package from time to time, but as Electrophile said, it's simply not affordable for some people. That would actually be an expense in my life that I would have to cut to buy necessary things and it sounds like it would be for her as well.

Thankfully I'm in the Detroit market and only miss the FSD+ games like tonight because right now I'm cutting expenses like going to the bar to watch blacked out games, hah.

Anyways if I were in her boat, I'd be relying on streams, too. A friend of mine is a wings fan in CA and does exactly that.

All that said, Hello to everyone, I'm fairly new to posting here, but I've been reading for a long time. Just trying to be helpful by researching the other viewing options a bit. :)

It's good that Conklin is getting this start, and honestly I think he should get the next 2-3. By then Ozzie ought to be downright furious at be relegated to the bench and come back with some consistent play to earn his keep.

I Agree

Thanks, I almost forgot. I'll give it a try tonight. I'll be the chat/board noob though. haha
