Americans love football unconditionally, for whatever reason. Sports radio is all Lions, all year round. Check out the activity on articles on websites like mlive.com and it's apparent that no matter how terrible your team is, people lose their s*** for football.

I certainly hope the TEAM turns it around, but I do not expect Ozzy (a 1.5 million goalie) to solely carry this team to the cup.

Another fallacy, the TEAM isn't playing well enough to take us deep into the playoffs. The entire team's defensive is sluggish. Ozzy is not a 7 million dollar goalie that's expected to carry his ENTIRE team on his back to the finals....

Big difference. Sooner people realize this, the better their quality of life will become!

I'll agree with you on this but still maintain that ozzy isn't playing well enough, or even up to his potential..he needs to be on top of HIS game for that but also, i think the team has lost confidence in him and it shows too.
