Holy s***, isn't this the SAME exact situation as our first road game in San Jose.?!?

San Jose has a 4-1 lead and with about 5 mins. left in the game, Raffie scores to make it 4-2...

exactly what I was thinking, Rafalski's got a weird knack for that this year it seems

if that one doesn't count, I'm jumping in the car and heading to toronto to find the guy who said it doesn't count

Well it ain't Campbell. He's in Montreal with Bettman doing damage control.

They should try Helm as the center on the second line. Worth a shot, especially with the game lost.

I'd gladly take Helm centering Hossa over freakin Franzen. I don't wanna sound like I don't like Franzen but with all the great passers on this team, Franzen just ain't one. And Hossa needs a set up man. Franzen will never be a set up man.

We can do this, we can do this, we can do this, we can do thsi.

Damn, Minnesota is a really boring team, aren't they? I hope they never do anything in the playoffs. Nothign would hurt the NHL more than Minnesota going deep.

Nooo, they are in the Hockey Command and Control bunker deep under Toronto where they spend their days plotting against detroit and hyping crosby....

Goal stands. Whew.

With five minutes left against a solid defensive team, it probably wouldn't have mattered if it had been disallowed.

Although the Wings team play has looked pretty bad tonight, all of Howard's goals against were pretty stoppable. He probably should have had a couple of them.

Agreed. All he does is stand down low and wait for rebounds to pound into the back of the net. I like goals, but he doesn't do much else.
