Vladifan 680 Report post Posted March 4, 2009 STOP TALKING ABOUT GOALIES Or start another thread about goalies. That kind of discussion has been sorely lacking.
Guest Shoreline Report post Posted March 4, 2009 The Sabres picking up a goalie wasn't surprising. I wasn't even aware Toskala was that bad though.
spydrwebb 0 Report post Posted March 4, 2009 None of the Ottawa player pages work. Are you suggesting they've traded their entire team? i've not said anything of the sort
Third Man In 2,091 Report post Posted March 4, 2009 Wasn't Campbell supposed to mean the Cup for the Sharks last year?

Hockeytown0001 7,652 Report post Posted March 4, 2009 Looks like someone else will have to move out of Calgary to make room under the cap for Jokinen
AtomicPunk 296 Report post Posted March 4, 2009 More specifically, take your 2 rings / 3 rings discussion out of the trade deadline thread. He has 3. Deal with it.
P. Marlowe 748 Report post Posted March 4, 2009 It's not working for any of them. Maybe they traded the whole team! No no... They've traded their webmaster to Detroit for Kopecky and a 2nd rounder.

Red Kingdom 4 Report post Posted March 4, 2009 Ooops, Anaheim get Nokelainen, not Torkelainen. All those Finnish names sound alike.
Vladifan 680 Report post Posted March 4, 2009 Wasn't Campbell supposed to mean the Cup for the Sharks last year? And wasn't it the Flyers some years back who were supposedly stacked with talent? Ah yes. I remember it well.
Nev 1,085 Report post Posted March 4, 2009 FFS, can we stop arguing about Hasek & Osgood like its 2007? 27 pages of trade deadline thread and half of them are crap about about a goaltender "controversy" that ended last summer In other news, Neil for Howard and 3rd would be awesome, but I can't see it now they've got LeClaire. Sammy is of no use to them as he's an UFA. Lebda, Meech, even Hudler (with a pick coming back our way) are more likely.
RedWingAbner 13 Report post Posted March 4, 2009 Anyone watching TSN? Who are the "Coytoes"?

boomer 0 Report post Posted March 4, 2009 Am I the only one that thinks Neil isn't that good of a depth pickup for the Wings? If they can get him for nothing, and I mean nothing, its fine. With Leino and Helm though, they have plenty of depth past the starters. I don't know if your the only one , but come on Neil is what we need there are no Drake types on this team . You watch the game last night how many good bodychecks did you see thrown by our forwards, I can't even count onewere seriously miising toughness up front. Downey threw a great one right before his fight and Datsyuk is usually good for a couple. Cleary had a few solid ones too.
AtomicPunk 296 Report post Posted March 4, 2009 Watch the playoff games from last year to see these guys raise their level of physical play in the playoffs. Not a regular season game against the Blues.
Vladifan 680 Report post Posted March 4, 2009 Here's a question that I do not have an answer to. When's the last time Holland hasn't made a move during this time - major or minor? Thanks in advance.
rivieraillusions 0 Report post Posted March 4, 2009 Downey threw a great one right before his fight and Datsyuk is usually good for a couple. Cleary had a few solid ones too. But none of them are anything like what Drake did last year in the playoffs. The man was frickin' possessed. We need that again.
