You were probably thinking of Green. Many people accuse him of not playing defense. Likely a "defensive" () stance because Green has been getting most of the league attention, even for the Norris since he leads D-men in points/goals, and is amongst the league leaders in +/-. Washington as a whole tends to play an on edge style of game, kinda erratic, but Green's defense is fine.

Lucky you. I'm hit or miss on the whole water thing. Maybe that's the problem. They need more hits and fewer misses.

All those pucks at the net during our pp and nothing, which isnt new, every goalie in the nhl seems to play better then ours.

Because every goalie in the NHL is better then ours. Just look at the numbers. I know Conks has good numbers, but he is on the downturn now.

I would support an instigator in that situation. Franzen laid a clean hit and McKee got his man feelings hurt so he wanted to go and start something. Grow up McKee. It's hockey. If you don't like getting hit, then ******* leave you loser.

Then i see these same goalies get blown out by some suckass team. If I were a goalie, I would play a tighter game against the Wings too. Everyone wants to play well against the defending champs.

This has long been an accusation regarding goalies and the Wings. I think last year was kind of an anomaly. For instance, Hasek got flak back in the cup season because he'd get bored from not getting many shots and do stupid things.

But those people looking at Ozzie's stats and basing his year on that really don't have a clue as to what the problem has been this season.

Stuart needs to work with Lidstrom to pick up his game. Look at what happened when Kronwall got paired with him. It wouldn't much matter what the second pairing was, Rafalski, Kronwall and Stuart are all turnover happy.
