QFT. I guess I can see the need to manufacture a little drama since wrapping up the division is pretty much a matter of formality but it's really pretty meaningless. I don't see how anyone can get that excited over them having one less game in hand with fifteen to go. If they even manage to lose to one of the crummiest teams in the conference.

People are just watching their team in a tight race for top spot. They've made up a whole bunch of points in the last few weeks so Wings fans are taking an interest in it. Seems fair to me. No need to criticise people for taking an active interest in the fortunes of another hockey club.

Haha the Sharks color guy talking about a hooking call. Interesting contrast between he and Remond.

I'm not sure why he thought that was a lift of the stick when Marleau clearly hit his gloves (although I'd agree it's a weak hook).

Remenda has, this and last season, complained consistently about the little calls, even when the Sharks have been beneficiaries of a penalty call, as he complained when Moen drew a pretty lame call. Wings fans complain about the same thing happening especially with Homer in front of the net, and Wing opponents gooning it up. Quite honestly it would be nice to get some clarity on what the f*** they're thinking and why the obvious philosophy of "evening up" calls unnecessarily.

I wasn't saying he was being unfair. He was just really loud about it whereas Redmond usually just chuckles and says "You guys won't like this one."

Meanwhile, LA's goalie Ersberg has been really solid.

Yeah Mickey is a bit more light-hearted about it (in his own quiet homer-like fashion) even though it clearly bothers him.

This game was so wide open in the 1st. Almost a constant stream of penalties ever since, unfortunately.

And the Kings just blew a 2-0 breakaway. Crazy.

A team like the Kings proves how amazing our Wings truly are. A guy who couldn't even make our roster is their best defense men.

How the f*** does a team not even get a SHOT on a 2 on NONE breakaway? Pass.. nothing.

Going to OT. If the Kings could score just one of those good break away chances, they already could easily take this game by 2 or 3 goals but they did not.

Both teams got one point in pocket so let's see what is going to happen in OT.

The Kings will definately be in the playoffs next year. They have a great young defence core, and a solid guy in O'Donell to lead them. Plus they got some good forwards and cap space to play with.

1:20, if this goes to a shootout...
