Inultus 12 Report post Posted March 17, 2009 Homer is probably going to retire soon, hes becoming more and more injury prone... By that logic Hossa and Zetterberg should retire also.
Guest mindfly Report post Posted March 17, 2009 (edited) I´m still amazed that Kronwall has hardly been injured this season Edited March 17, 2009 by mindfly
Drake_Marcus 890 Report post Posted March 17, 2009 Hurraaay, lebda playing center and meech.... Laugh now, but if Richards challenges the Wings to a speed skating competition you'll be glad we can ice a fourth line of: Meech-Draper-Lebda Ain't no one going to out skate that line. Outscore? Oh yeah, but skate? Never.

DyingAlive 27 Report post Posted March 17, 2009 Lebda with the hat trick! He is an offensive juggernaut waiting to explode from his defensive shell. Ovechkin who? Lebda is a pure goal scorer.
dat's sick 1,002 Report post Posted March 17, 2009 I´m still amazed that Kronwall has hardly been injured this season Just because you said that, Kronner is going to break a leg or something today.
Shaman 713 Report post Posted March 17, 2009 By that logic Hossa and Zetterberg should retire also. Hossa isnt that injury prone, and Z will play more than 75 games this season, but, Homer's injuries seem as though they are building on themselves.
CanadaBoy 151 Report post Posted March 19, 2009 Lilja not close Defenseman Andreas Lilja, out since Feb. 28 with a concussion, continues to experience headaches. "We're waiting for him to come in two to three days in a row and tell us he's symptom-free," Holland said. "Then, we'll get him on the (exercise) bike and ramp it up each day. If all goes well, he's at least a couple of weeks away." Center Valtteri Filppula (back) is expected back for Friday's game at Atlanta and right wing Tomas Holmstrom (knee) also is close to returning. http://www.mlive.com/redwings/index.ssf/20..._wing.html#more
DatsMyWings13 4 Report post Posted March 19, 2009 Lilja got rocked pretty good, reminded me of that part in Friday when Red gets knocked out . . . . You got knocked the Fu** out!! I hope he gets to feeling better real soon though.
Guest mindfly Report post Posted March 19, 2009 So there aren't any treatments for the headaches from concussions? Bad scientists!
55fan 5,133 Report post Posted March 19, 2009 So there aren't any treatments for the headaches from concussions? Bad scientists! The headaches are symptoms. It's like if you take pain relievers for a broken foot, but keep skating- You'll feel better, but you'll make the foot worse. We don't want Lilja out jarring his brain if it's injured. There's more to life than hockey (at least in his life- he does have a family) and we don't want to ruin his career by rushing him back and causing his injury to get worse. Mors 201 Report post Posted March 19, 2009 Who would have thought we'd be missing Lilja so much? If you asked me before the season started I probably could have cared less if he was even in the lineup at all. He's really had a good year, here's hoping to a full recovery. RockyMountainWingGal 108 Report post Posted March 20, 2009 So there aren't any treatments for the headaches from concussions? Bad scientists! Neuroscience is far less advanced than many other areas - not because they haven't tried just as hard, but because the brain and neurosystem are so complex. Let's fact it, a stomach, kidney etc is much easier to figure out. Case in point, Liam Neeson's wife died from a minor spill on a bunny slope = doctors and scientists have no remedy for these things....
Guest mindfly Report post Posted March 20, 2009 (edited) Says here he's better and made some progress, that's good because this team needs a shot-blocker badly http://www.detnews.com/article/20090320/SP...0319/1128/rss16 Edited March 20, 2009 by mindfly
