Osgood was good overall but just average in the 3rd, they got what 6shots on goal in the 3rd and 3 went in?

And then there was that little problem with one of the goals where nobody could clear the puck for s***. Three or four times, the Wings shot the puck up the middle of the ice, right to one of the bad guys. Even Lidstrom screwed up. I dunno, has anyone anywhere ever seen good s*** come from doing that three or four times?

Not me, that's for damn sure.

Great game by Ozzie. I'm glad Cleary got that last goal because the penalty they called on him before that was horrible and led to a Thrashers goal.

That's something Ovie needs to do after scoring. A full-on Fosse number, maybe something from Cabaret. I want to see jazz hands and some chasse turns. Go for the gold.

Speaking of Cabaret, when he scores, they could quickly slide a chair onto the ice, and...and...he could straddle it!....and show some real good extension with side splits in the air...then bend backwards raising both legs and then do a back flip...and if it'd been in this game the refs coulda called a game delay or with any luck at all he could rent Flip's back spasms at least for the rest of the game.

And Tomorrow would indeed belong to us! OK, so that's a stretch....heh heh....

Overall good game, a little defensive breakdown in the end there but no biggie. Although I'm happy for Z and his 4 assists, a part of me wishes Pasha could've gotten the 4pts instead

Great game for the Red Wings. Ozzie was terrific again. It would be nice if the Red Wings didn't have so many defensive lapses when they get a lead. Ozzie deserved much better than the three goals allowed on the scoreboard tonight. I hope the Red Wings are just bored with the regular season and the mental focus is there for 60 minutes in the playoffs. I'm not trying to complain after a very solid effort, but it's a recurring theme this season that somewhat concerns me with this team.

Z played really well and Sammy is just a complete idiot. He should really stop with the tough guy act. It's a joke to sit there and pretend he is tough just so he can become a punching bag when the refs don't break up his usual facewashing tactic. Stick to something you can do Sammy - shooting the puck into the goalie. Nobody thinks you are actually tough.

I can't help but feel that Ozzie's turned the corner These last 4 games have really been great with Ozzie between the pipes.

Here's hoping he'll play even better between now and the end of the summer!

Now that you mention 'money', there's more he/they could do! They could do a big finish with "Money Makes the World Go 'Round", doing the little 'money' time step before they go into the real song. And if they can't sing or dance for s*** then the hate should come reeeal easy....

What I'm thinking is Ovie should wear white tie and tails underneath his uniform, so when he rips it off for the "Hey, Big Spender" finale, someone can hand him a top hat and his stick can be a cane. After that, he can break out into "Puttin' On The Ritz" by Taco. Finish it up with a chorus of "If My Friends Could See Me Now" and we're good as gold.

Nice win, i feel we were just having fun trading goals after Ozzie lost the SO in the 3rd. If it was a more meaningful game im sure they would have tightened up.

Osgood played great and those three goals weren't his fault. First goal Staurt fails to clear, second goal 4-3, third goal Kronwall and the rest of the clown defense stood around with 30 seconds left- PLAY 60 MINUTES!

Overall nice game. I'm hoping the Stars can buckle down and beat San Jose.

Yeah, the fact that the Wings are suddenly being outshot 2-1 in the third when they were outshooting the thrashers 3-2 in the first 40 doesn't factor into Atlanta's scoring at all.

Seriously, Osgood needs to go a foot taller and gain about 200 lbs to stop some of these shots because his D isn't helping him a ton.
