ShanahanMan 473 Report post Posted March 22, 2009 Habs fans are chanting "Carbo! Carbo!". What's the Habs record since firing him? Seriously, they're bad. Very bad. They were just saying that the Habs are 27th in the league since the all star break.

Wingsallwin 0 Report post Posted March 22, 2009 I thought Halak was better than Price but both seem same; maybe because Halak is bad only tonight but I don't see the Habs can go more than the first round, not even sure they will make the playoff or not
RusDRW 155 Report post Posted March 22, 2009 when watching such games sometimes I want to be a Monthreal fan... or Toronto fan, or Calgary fan... I want to cheer for a team that shows emontions on the ice just like Canadians in the second period. Sad to say but the last time I saw my beloved Wings showing some emotions was 3rd periods of 5th game in SCF. Winning is good but hockey is all about emotions for me. C'est ça est pourquoi mon équipe #2 est les Canadiens! (That's why my #2 team is the Canadiens) That and the whole history really gives something great to cheer for, Wings get credit for their class throughout the organization, and they never seem to panic. my french is probably a lil rusty though, haven't used it in two years. ShanahanMan 473 Report post Posted March 22, 2009 Another miserable loss for Les Habitants. You catch those boo's at the end? It was deafening.
Doggy 130 Report post Posted March 22, 2009 You catch those boo's at the end? It was deafening. I heard them from Australia lol. The Habs are now 1-3-2 since firing Carbonneau and in 8th place by virtue of a Panthers loss to the Jackets or they'd be 9th. The way they're playing, they have zero chance at making the playoffs over Florida. Gainey needs to turn this around, fast. Their one win was in a shootout. What a mess. Detroit # 1 Fan 2,204 Report post Posted March 22, 2009 Gainey being a quiet coach will be the end of them. Should've pulled a Lamoreillo and hired Larry Robinson. In any case, even if the Habs sneak in 8th, they'll be done in a max of 5 games. Their goaltending is horrible, and there soft as butter. Latendresse and Laperrire are the only guys finishing checks, the rest of the guys are just going through the motions. Oh, and boy do I love it!

TheOwl 77 Report post Posted March 22, 2009 (edited) Montreal sucks. They had 5 starters at the all-star game, look how stupid they look now, can barely make the play-offs. NHL is a joke. Edited March 22, 2009 by TheOwl
Detroit # 1 Fan 2,204 Report post Posted March 22, 2009 And according to the telecast, Gainey makes the players speak to him ONLY in French! That's so stupid. Pierre Lebrun got it right at the 2nd intermission, if their so concerned with players and coaches speaking french, they have their priorities in the wrong order.
