Believe it or not, if you don't have the throw-up kind of flu, even warm Seven-Up helps. No, I'm not a Jewish mother but I am working on my Empath badge in Girl Scouts. I know. I've done it. The Wings won in '97 on my birthday. You'd think that would be awesome. Well, I was in the fetal position on the floor in my bedroom, in so much pain from various stomach ailments, I actually contemplated jumping out a window. Warm 7-Up and saltines are a godsend when you don't have the nauseous flu. When I was a kid, we always had bottles of it in the pantry, where it would stay warm, in the event of someone getting sick.
