bellarina 1 Report post Posted March 27, 2009 (edited) http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=272836 A man from Central Ohio has been arrested after threatening phone calls were placed to the Columbus Blue Jackets, reports the Columbus Dispatch. According to the newspaper, the man placed at least three phone calls to the team that threatened goaltender Steve Mason during a 5-0 win over the Calgary Flames. A Columbus police said 52-year-old Peter Stenzel was arrested and charged with inducing panic and menacing. The police report also said Stenzel was wearing a Flames t-shirt at the time of his arrest. He will be held at the Franklin County Jail pending a hearing on Saturday. Love that he was wearing a Flames T-shirt at the time of arrest. lol Edited March 27, 2009 by bellarina

scotzman 29 Report post Posted March 27, 2009 Stay classy, Flames fans. Exactly... the fans are apparently as ******-y as the actual players. The Flames really tried to thug it up last night when they knew they were gonna' lose. Bert threw with Klesla and I am happy to say, Klesla got in the best shots. In fact another P.O.S. tried to throw with Klesla later. Camalerri and even Jokinen thugged it up last night.

Drake_Marcus 890 Report post Posted March 27, 2009 According to one of the flames fans on that forum this is the photo of the guy (I'm not sure if he has a valid source for it, but it's funny none-the-less): The site won't let me direct link to it Ummm an insane crank-calling Asian dude with a mullet? I'm not sure this story can get any more awesome. :rotflmao:
bellarina 1 Report post Posted March 27, 2009 I can just see the guy, with his beer gut hanging out of his 3 times too small Flames t-shirt, handcuffed, being haul away to the loney bin screaming "I'll get you Mason, I'll get you if it's the last thing I do." Bahahahahahaha!!!
Detroit # 1 Fan 2,204 Report post Posted March 27, 2009 Flames fan? Beliveable story. I'm suprised he knew how Steve Mason was though, most fans only know McLennan, Turek, and Kipprusoff (and not how to spell it mind you.)

Grypho 195 Report post Posted March 30, 2009 This is what Calgary fans are saying about it Some of the Calfan's responses had me rolling! ...looks like he could be our new powerplay coach when he gets out of jail. You can just see some fat hairy old nerd sitting in his living room, naked from the waist down and wearing a tattered flames shirt with a bottle of southern comfort in his hand and a phone in the other.....and a bowl of Captain Crunch on the TV tray in between his legs. NORM!!! ...I was just as frustrated as this guy last night... almost bought a new tv just so I could throw it through my old tv... Can we trade this guy to the Vancouver fan base for, I don't know, a syringe or something.

I live in the South, these people take pride in that haircut.
