Bleeding vein likely to keep Lilja out for start of postseason

Terrible news. I dont see Lils getting in during the post-season, how can you? With Chelios, Ericsson and Lebda all healthy and looking fine, as good a season as Lilja has had with all these problems he's had, I just dont think the Wings of all organizations will jeopardize his health. Really sucks about it, because as I said, Lilja was playing just fantastic this season. (Plus, whenever the f*ck Lilja scores, EVERYONE goes wild!)

yeah...too bad lils's great season has to end this way. : ( i think that best...BEST case scenario would be that they get if fixed up sometime soon, he has a few weeks to get back into game shape, and he comes in in the WCF or SCF if somebody goes down with an injury. he hasn't been able to work out, so he's lost a lot of his conditioning, and even if/when he gets it back, it's going to take him a while to get back into game form....not something you really want to do in the playoffs unless it is required.

unless a) a miracle happens and then b) three of ericcson, lebda, chelios, meech go down with injury, i don't see lils playing in the playoffs this year....which is really too bed considering the season he had.

all that being said, my biggest concern of course is for his health. let's hope for some good news soon!

LOL. Easy there, kidos. You can safely assume that any post that starts with "Lilja, a superstar..." is in jest. The intelectual capacity of this thread is just fine, but your sarcasm meeter is broken.

lol....

Your sarcasm wasn't really funny.

Sarcasm is not a synonym for humor. It wasn't a joke, it was sarcasm. Similarily, jest need not be funny.

I'm glad you didn't think it was funny, as it wasn't intended to be.

It did go over-your-head though, sadly. Are you autistic by chance? Autistic people often have difficulty picking up on sarcasm.

Funny, I never said your statement was serious. Before giving me the personal attacks you could learn how to comprehend what I said.

Anyways, your sarcasm was bad, and you should feel bad.

Why should I feel bad? I have a great life. It's good to be me:)

Okay, what's the point of posting "your sarcasm wasn't really funny."? I never claimed it was supposed to be. It wasn't supposed to be. Your post makes about as much sense as replying to a post about Lilja's injurry with "Lilja isn't really and elephant."

Also, I didn't attack you, I asked if you were autistic. There's no shame in being autistic, and I would never state or imply that there is. Why do you feel attacked when someone asks if you're autistic?

Yes, I'm sure it wasn't a personal attack by accusing me of being autistic.

I see why you do this now, it's fun to post like you!

Gotta run, time for some perch and beers! TTFN! Smooches and all that, chum.

Also, where did I "accuse" you of being autistic? I wouldn't do such a thing.
