YoungGuns1340 1 Report post Posted April 12, 2009 This still all confuses me. If the Ducks win in a shootout it puts them at 92 points (tied with the Jackets) which means Anaheim would still take 7th spot, right? No. They have more wins than Columbus regardless. So if Anaheim wins, they have the tie-breaker. They get sixth.

YoungGuns1340 1 Report post Posted April 12, 2009 Ok, well, if the Blues can get the win tomorrow, then we're facing either the Jackets or the Blues. Whats the tie-breaker after wins. Goals for, or goal differential? Anyways, GO BLUES.

YoungGuns1340 1 Report post Posted April 12, 2009 Dammit! So much for me getting any sleep during the playoffs in Finals week. More late night bulls*** against West coast teams. Um, if the Blues win tomorrow, they'll take 6th spot overall. They'll have 92 points (same as CBJ), 41 wins (same as CBJ), and they'll have the tie breaker (they beat CBJ 4 or 5 times in the season series this year. Anaheim ends the season with 91 points. So rest assured, if the Blues win tomorrow, we won't even have to step out of the Great Lakes Region in the first round. No time change either.
Vilmer 0 Report post Posted April 12, 2009 Dammit. The first round is going to be f*****g tough now either way with a scorching St. Louis or Anaheim. Go Blues, but bang 'em up good Avs
TheOwl 77 Report post Posted April 12, 2009 St. Louis wins, we play Jackets. If they lose (OT,SO or in Regulation) we play Anaheim.
YoungGuns1340 1 Report post Posted April 12, 2009 ???? Which one anybody know the extended tie breakers? Blues win ---> Wings vs. Jackets. Blues hold the tie-breaker between the Jackets, which is winning the season series.
