zaxx 0 Report post Posted April 15, 2009 After the text message incident the only way MacT could have been removed as the coach (and kept dignity) is to step down and make the claim that he is doing it for the better of the team. This was something that many people saw coming as soon as the text message thing happened. I mean what kind of an owner sends a text to a sports radio station.. lol
mjlegend 155 Report post Posted April 15, 2009 Huddy doesn't have enough experience. They'd do well to get a good, young junior coach, since they're supposed to have a team with the speed that can play a younger, faster system. But they'll probably throw Glenn Anderson behind the bench or something.
xBrave_Heartx 0 Report post Posted April 15, 2009 Good for Edmonton.. It was only a matter of time before MacT was gone.. Hopefully this doesn't mean Edmontons toughness goes down as well though.. Storts,MacInt,Strud and so on.. They were a relative fun team to watch.
BeeRYCE 2 Report post Posted April 15, 2009 I saw this coming from a mile away... Mac-T did strike me as a good, knowledgeable coach though. I think they should hire Peter Laviolette next.
