Ovechkin vs. Lundqvist is like an unstoppable force vs. an immovable object. 1-0 Lundqvist after tonight.

Pretty much :) 13 shots on goal, with 20-something shot attempts for Ovechkin. Insane. Somehow Hank stood his ground. It's going to be especially interesting since a couple days ago Ovechkin basically hinted at calling Hank out on having illegally big equipment. It isn't, it's been tested many times, but it's definitely going to be fun to continue to see the two standouts on their respective teams battle it out!

Who, Kyle Wellfed? Well that's not very nice now is it...

Lol. Nah not Wellfed. The guy that sung the anthems. He made Pavarotti look like Victoria Beckham.

Blues vs Canucks is intense!

The intensity of that game is really scaring me for tomorrow night. I hope to God that the Wings can play with intensity. Oh and the Caps losing is also a little unnerving because of the whole 7th seed losing to the 2nd seed thing. Yes I am an egocentric Wings fan.

Fantastic game!!! Gomez was an absolute beast, Dubinsky made a glorious play, and King Hank was rock solid.

Theodore wasn't as good as he needed to be, but I still believe that no matter Washington's goaltender, the Rangers have a legitimate shot at this series.

Good work, Rangers! Barely made it into the playoffs, but you proved many wrong :) Definitely takes the sting off of the sad, sad Pittsburgh game...

Agreed, didn't catch much of Rangers, but it's good :)

And for the best news of the night: O' Halloran is in Vancouver :hehe:

Did we all forget the intensity from the Wings the last two post seasons? I understand that they are generally not a fiesty, in your face, gritty team, but they'll step it up. Just like they did the past couple years.

Watch out for Kronwall nailing someone in his first shift. I'm calling it! lol

They weren't the stanley cup champs the past 2 years though either.

I am praying they step it up. I think they will as well, but I'm not looking at the last 2 seasons when they were hungry to win a cup as my reasoning for thinking they'll step it up tomorrow. I'm looking at hoping that they want to repeat bad and were just trying to get through the regular season. I mean, for a team to win over 50 games and look like they weren't trying half the time, pretty damn impressive.

Also, on the GDT looking at Ozzy's numbers is pretty goofy, 26-9 with a 3 goals against. That's a great record for a high GAA and a crappy SV%. New season starts later today baby!
