wow the little i watched from that game calgary was totally dominating.. guess chicago turned it on?

Yeah, the Hawks were pretty much all over them for the last 10 and OT.

I want to catch the replay again to look at the interference, I missed it before...

I've said it before and I'll say it again:

Clagary = teh suck

I was thinking tonight that Chicago would be a nice, classic WCF opponent, not that I'm looking too far ahead. If this team gets by Columbus and (maybe) Vancouver, a good ol' rivalry would flare up this year and in future years against another Central Division opponent. Might be a good way to care about the regular season again.

My god this is the Duck's first penalty?

There is something very disturbing and wrong about that.

what was the most suprising was pronger avoiding someone in the first period.. anyone know what im talking about? shark player chased the puck towards pronger who were skating backwards and just when i was expecting a big ugly hit from pronger he just steps aside and let the shark player by.. DOES NOT COMPUTE!

That's a good point. Having a real, legitimate rival, especially within the division, would make the regular season a lot more interesting both for the team and for the fans. That being said, for the most part, the Wings always showed up against Chicago this year, with the last two games being a notable exception.

Anaheim definitely made the right call in net...still trying to figure out why most of you wanted to avoid these guys though. Sure there's the travel, but if you finish your series a week early, that doesn't make that much difference.

So many division rivals are playing each other tonight and yet there seems to be more feeling out than Catholic school prom night.

Hopefully the neutral games get better as the first round wears on.
