Resetti 44 Report post Posted April 18, 2009 I know there are no moral victories in playoff hockey games, but at the very least the Capitals fielded a netminder that could stand his ground today. I was surprised they benched Theodore so quickly after a bad Game 1, but if this kid can play like this every game, it's a step in the right direction. It might be too little too late with Washington blowing home ice advantage already though... Geez, Rangers with two wins under the belt before playing one game at home! Who saw that coming? dat's sick 1,002 Report post Posted April 18, 2009 You gotta feel bad for Varlamov who comes in and keeps the Rags to 1 goal and they still lose. But Lundqvist is crazy right now, he's one of few goaltenders that really have the capability to steal a series on his own. Caps can play better offense though, and I think they'll get atleast one of the games in New York.

Mason's playing very solid, St. Louis needs to figure out how to score and quick.
cirov19 1 Report post Posted April 18, 2009 (edited) So Lundqvist beats the Caps again... does anybody think the Caps are out of this or do they still have a chance to win? Edit - Personally I think they still have a chance to win it. Edited April 18, 2009 by cirov19
Guest Shoreline Report post Posted April 19, 2009 Was 2-0 Bruins, Kovalev scores again and it's 2-1 Bruins.
Guest Shoreline Report post Posted April 19, 2009 (edited) Boston gets that goal back. 3-1. Canadians that want a Canadian cup winner might be pinning their hopes on Vancouver this season, especially if Chicago wins tonight. Mike 0 Report post Posted April 19, 2009 Price got chased from the net. They shouldn't bother with him anymore. Go with Halak for the rest of the series.
Guest Shoreline Report post Posted April 19, 2009 Boston Montreal getting nasty, Bergeron just got into a fight. Notice how the presence of enforcers and fighters isn't stopping the nastiness from happening. 4 minutes of fun left.

Guest Shoreline Report post Posted April 19, 2009 Oh and much more nastiness. Lucic getting ganged and punched on by 3 Habs players. Is this "message sending" by the Habs?
