He does have that whiff of a hip check that sent him into the Wings bench, and the extra shove retaliation on Franzen while Z scored untouched though... so he does have that. Ha.

That is the reason why. The wings have very few right handed shots. It is nice to have hte ability to switch off on the PP. Also ESPECIALLY with a left handed glove of Mason in net its important to have a right handed shot going against him.

But many players are ambis and can play with either hand. (In fact, that might be why Sammy's stickhandling is so awkward because he's actually left handed). Is it too late for Kronwall to practice playing with a right-handed shot so that he can set up Big E and his 100mph rocket?

columbus started to come on late in the period after the penalty kill. other than that, pretty dominant.

Kind of petered out for the last few minutes, but Detroit didn't give Columbus any room to breathe after CBJ tied it, and took it to them. Gotta be happy with that.

They failed to mention/realize that the play was whistled dead because of a hand pass and proceeded to freak out when the puck trickled and hit the post. . After the BJ's scored they said something about them getting the go ahead goal... just small stupid stuff thats annoying me. Ohh and they suck at showing replays.

That was freaking horrible. They were so sure that "HE HAD OSGOOD BEAT!" that I started to doubt what I saw/heard.

Brian Engblom used to be the analyst on their games before Gare. I know that's not the answer to the question, but did they really think Gare was an upgrade? All the guys on Versus have regular local gigs, so that's not it. IDK if Engblom's with another team now, but I haven't seen him.

Gare is at his drooling-idiot worst when trying to telestrate plays, as he's doing now. Intelligent analysts explain why something happens. Gare just says what happened: "see, watch the puck bounce off the boards...there it goes!"

Check my response on page 9, I rewatched and see your argument, and can see it as a legit penalty. Just think its something that has been let go very often this series.

As in all the checks on Homer. I guess one out of ten calls is all we can hope for....
