Brian Rafalski's Return

He was neutral tonight, in my opinion. The ice was horrible. The Wings were horrible. There's NO WAY the DETROIT RED WINGS should only score ONE freaking measily goal. They are getting hooked so bad out there, it's pathetic. The officials really decide the game based on whether or not they want to let Zetterberg, Datsyuk, and Hossa get slashed, hooked, and held all game. That's what sucks. This series is in the hands of the officials and not the players.

Sad but true.

Is it only me ... I just can't stand Kronwall shot ... weak / mis-aimed / blocked.

It's NOT just you. It's like Lidstrom doesn't mentor ANY of our defensemen. Lidstrom shoots with his head up and does NOT fire the puck into oncoming players. Lost-bda and Kronwall do it almost EVERY time. It's annoying. I'd rather have Datsyuk man the point than Kronwall. Datsyuk can at least play with his head up.

we can do more than 3000. about 4000 more than that. if we didn't wimp out and shoot for only 2250 this wouldn't be an issue... game 6 should've been 3000 and game 7 should be 4000. 'nough said.

we had 2250 by 4am yesterday, nothing is impossible.

He had a really nice slap pass on a PP earlier, kept the puck in on the Wings goal (shame he didn't get an assist) and overall looked good. That penalty call on him was an absolute joke.

Agreed, remember how Nidermayer was dry humping Zettz and no call ... and they call Rafalski for that.

He did fine, Kronwall disappointing me the most tonight, and his penalty wasn't nearly as bad as what the Ducks defense does half the time.

Rafs looked good for the most part of the game, although I wasn't too pleased with his performance in the last minute or so when it mattered most. All in all it was decent, like most ppl said here, better than Kronners.

It was good to see him back. Even though Corey the fairy jumped his ass at the end of the game. WTF is that s***? go after an injured guy and while he trys to protect him self keep throwing punches? I hope I meet Corey Perry in a bar someday.
