I think Neidermayer was just tired of getting turned inside out by Dats countless times in the third. Anyways, I bet this gives Dats that extra kick, and we see a great game 7 from him. I am actually more pissed about Corey Perry trying to scrap an injured Rafalski at the end of the game. I can't wait for the day someone caves that little s***s face in. Ericsson kicked his ass with one arm (he literally did- he didn't use his left hand for fear of worsening his wrist injury). I'd LOVE to see Ericsson go to town on his dog-ugly face with both hands. Yeahhhh- Wiz's lung contusion wasn't the mitigating factor in his injury- it was the elbow from Holmstrom that he sees at least once a game during the regular season/playoffs. Well, we'll see how good of a job he does. Neidermayer deserves a suspension for this stupid butt-end to the face. Regardless of who he is, what game it is, where it occured. The evidence is there. Bettman won't do a god damn thing, though. The Ducks will be allowed to play this brand of hockey without recourse. The Wings won't have the answer they SHOULD HAVE HAD TONIGHT (Kocur). The Wings fans will ***** about why they don't get the calls. It's all just a joke. I don't know why the Wings don't fight fire with fire. Especially when they're up in the series. It'd be one thing if the Wings were trailing 3-2 tonight. But the Wings needed a big man out there to mix it up tonight. They were getting pushed around, and all they have is Datsyuk and Hossa throwing Euro SLAPS around. The Ducks have got to be laughing in their locker room. And they have a right to. The Wings looked like BIG HAIRY PU$$IES TONIGHT. They looked that way because that's what they were. When Neidermayer is getting the better of you, you've got a testosterone problem. Oh well. We'll see what happens in game 7. Hopefully the Wings win, and we can all stop the bashing and forget about this miserable series. It's been the WORST series of hockey I've seen in a long time. It looks exciting from a box score standpoint, but this really isn't old time hockey. This is new Bettman time hockey with sh!tty officiating, slow ice, and crappy hockey in general. No wonder the league has a hard time drawing fans. Tonight, this was a perfect example of why the league is better off without the Bettman North American style rules. He's more of a hands off type of player most of the time.... apparently he's gotten more hands on with age? Or maybe they injected him with some of Pronger's horse steroids. Dude- how long have you been watching the Wings? The grit on the 97, 98 and to a lesser extent the 02 teams was a little bit of spice, a garnish if you will. The do not play the "North American style" you're pining for. And guess what? They've won 4 of the last 11 cups. No one else can even claim to be their peer over the last 12 years. Perrys was worse, pounding on Rafalski FOR WHAT? He's a punk, he's a joke, and it's a joke that a rookie on Detroit has been the only one to do anything. f***, Sammy didnt do much tonight, scratch him on Thursday throw Downey in with Abdelkader and get them to take him out.
