Well done Pavel. Never backs down in the scrums and last night didnt back down from the elbows and butt-ends. Good point. Dude took a butt end to the kisser and still managed to throw a few punches. More balls than the gutless wonder that hit him... that's for sure. I have a feeling he's gonna light em up tomorrow. Dr. Sapirstein 0 Report post Posted May 13, 2009 I am also proud of Datsyuk. But who does he thinks he is that Niedermayer bastard to be pounding on Datsyuk like that??? That would have never happened back when we had Bob Probert and Joey Kocur... The Wings need to find an enforcer and quick! I'm sick and tired of watching these Anaheim freaking Dicks playing the intimidation card against us! I hope that we demolish them in game 7!
Guest micah Report post Posted May 13, 2009 + another one. He didn't dive, he didn't skate away with his tail between his legs, he fought back to the best of his ability. Granted, he can't fight for s***, but at least he tried.

Guest micah Report post Posted May 13, 2009 I been getting text messages saying Datsyuk got killed. I am just happy that he fighted back. He lost, and he looked kinda silly throwing punches with his gloves still on, but he didn't flop to the ice or turtle, and that's not nothing.

Well I for one can't blame him for leaving the gloves on, Niedermayer still had a visor on and that can mess a guy's hands up if you hit it. I applaud Pavel and the rest of the guys for sticking up for themselves, beat or not.

NHLrules? 32 Report post Posted May 13, 2009 (edited) How about he steps up and makes them pay the only way he is effective? I love how the ducks take our guys out of the game, then beat there ass after the buzzer. Note to our euros, if you dont show up for game time, after the buzzer get off the ice as fast as possible;so you dont embarrass yourself after the game is over. Edited May 13, 2009 by NHLrules? Why risk ******* up your injury anymore in a scrum with Perry the Fairy? shows how gutless Perry really is going after an injured guy like that.

j.hoop 64 Report post Posted May 13, 2009 how can anyone say datsyuk lost the fight? it wasnt even a fight to begin with, and pasha at least got a couple shots on him (regardless of the power behind them) all i saw was neidermayer hitting pads, pulling shirt, and bringing his fists down like judge judys gavel. embarassing show of composure by neidermayer, and an even more embarassing attempt at hitting someone smaller. btw, marchant is a rapist. OsGOD 3 Report post Posted May 13, 2009 I would rather he keeps the gloves on and use his "Rhamani given" eyes to score a bit. I would rather win on the scoreboard right now than on the fight card!
LidstromIsASuperhero 29 Report post Posted May 13, 2009 I say we insert Downey or Mac into the lineup tomorrow. Seroiusly. I mean, the way it's been lately we are almost a three line team as it is. Make the fourth line out of two special teams guys and an enforcer, oldskool style lol.
Guest Shoreline Report post Posted May 13, 2009 (edited) I would rather he keeps the gloves on and use his "Rhamani given" eyes to score a bit. I would rather win on the scoreboard right now than on the fight card! Evidently there are a few far too pre-occupied with the nonsense that occurs on the side. Thankfully, more likely than not, Babs does not have this line of thinking for a team as skilled as the Wings. Fact is, Dats was frustrated because he has been blanketed by guys like Niedermayer, and is in a rather large scoring slump. If he had actually not been shut out so extensively the chances of him punching back like this are almost nil. The extracurricular s*** has happened all season. He's just frustrated with his game right now and needed to let out a little frustration. Of course, this isn't going to stop a few from suggesting Downey or Mac are the ultimate solution for playing the Ducks. Always good for a laugh. In reality, the Wings NEED to convert on their chances. They had one-on-one's with Hiller.. shot wide or stopped. They had many power play opportunities. Executed on only one. They had their chances, and this game were not able to convert. They will need to change this for Game 7, not get angry and let logic fly out the ******* window like some of the pissed off posters here.
