Ok ok, maybe I'm still in cloud 9, but this guy is clutch imo. He's been awesome this post season! Sure the he's flubbed a few times, but even the greats have their moments...they're human after all. IMO he may not be the most skill in the athletic dept (although I still think he has one of the fastest glove hands in todays NHL) as some of the future HOF goalies, but I think he's #1 in the most important aspeact of the game: the mental aspect of it. He also may not stop them all, but he stops 99% of all the key moments (if he was perfect we would have won how many cups in a row?), and he doesn't get rattled! Good bounce back from the regular season from our one and only Chris Osgood.

I just wanted to give the underdog, the "weakest link", the "has been" a good ole OZZIE!!! He was one of the better players in this advancement game!

GO WINGS!

Cool as they come out there. Ozzie was amazing tonight, and has been stellar the entire playoffs. Credit where it's due: he's the reason they've stayed some games where they shouldn't have, and the reason they've won a couple, too.

Rock on, Ozzie!!

I never doubted him during the regular season. Not once. Chicago will be tough though, it will be a real test of the Detroit D and goaltending. Datysuk and Hossa hopefully will be lights out!

easily the wings most consistent player so far. aside from the 2nd period of game 4 against the jackets (where he was hurt) he has been rock solid.

I've deliberately not said anything about him so far in order to not jinx him, but yes he's been fantastic.

Every game he's given the team a chance to win. Tonight he had some huge saves at key times.

He's definitely not been the "weak link".

Ummm that save Ozzy made tonight in the first when he kicked his pad up high was fricking awesome.

Up until the third goal tonight I'd put Ozzy as the first star of the game, but that goal (even though it wasn't his fault) combined with Cleary's game winner puts him in as the second star in my opinion.

He thrives off of the playoff pressure and brings his best game.

This is kind of the reason I don't mind that he never seems to get his dues. He relishes being an underdog type, a guy with something to prove. Absolutely feeds on it.

Here's my visual map of Ozzie's season thus far:

I was a huge doubter this season and freely admit it. I didn't think we could get past the 2nd round with Osgood in net. All I can say is that the reg. season really doesn't matter and that it is interesting who shows up and who doesn't in the post season.

I'm not a big faith guy, and in this case I was wrong despite the reg. season evidence.

So my apologies for all those anti-Osgood posts.
