Oh sorry, as defensive as you got when someone said something about a pens fan that threatened the life of a player, I just assumed you were sticking up for your buddies.

You only read my post as defensive because you lack the certain mental prowess it takes to seperate debate styled retorts with reactive bellyaching.

Instead of attacking my use of the word "your", how about you address the issue. Pens fans, more than just the owner of those forums, are pretty classless. It's not one person, it's many. As I pointed out in my post (which you tried to brush aside with your ad hominem attack on my use of the word your).

Again, slow minded parsing of the real dicussion. I didn't attck your use of the word "your", I debunked and obliterated your false ideas that a) these sites belong to the posters b) that you are assigned to a site according to which team you favor.

As for the "Pens fans" claim, it is pure conjecture, histrionics, and unverified claims.

And just to show you how feeble this was on your part; I used the word YOUR when describing the pens forum and you attack me, then you turn around and say the red wings forum is yours. So either you can can describe the forums as "your or my forums" or you can't. You shouldn't attack my statement and then turn around and make the same statement.

Or I can claim that either is as much mine or yours as the next based on membership, enrollement and or participation. As it stands neither is our forum, so we share ownership equally--zero, and membership wholley (here not at LGP).

Luckily I have been on the internet for a while and I am quite familiar with your style of "debate". The official Penguins message board lets anybody join.

They do let you join but they love it more to kick you off that site also, they are counting how many they have booted and they love it. currently last I seen they just booted #103 last night. I tried to join but they wouldn't let me. Thats sad that penguins own website is kicking all but pens fans out.

I really couldn't tell you. I haven't tried to join LGP and I've only read it once. I'm wondering now too, though.

Someone there made a post about reffing inconsistencies and was complaining about malkin's elbow on franzen being a weak call and that maltby was allowed to get away with murder in game 4. All I said was that I wasn't going to agree or disagree about certain calls but I would be the first to admit that officiating inconsistencies ruin the game for alot of people including me and that if the rules are written in black and white, they should be called in black and white. No matter what team it is on.

How that is a bannable and deletable post i'll never understand...oh well

Hey, some of you might remember me from last year. I am not here to troll trust me, we get enough of that on LGW.com. That said, Most of you I agree with. All teams sell calls when they can. It's not just a wings thing. I also agree that Maltby got away with murder in game 4. I don't care what team is commiting an obvious penalty, I want it called. To me the NHL is becoming less and less of an actual sport and more and more of just a form of entertainment (like the WWE) because Buttman allows these refs to be inconsistent. In fact he stands behind every call they make publicly. Someone else in here said it best. The players don't know what they can and can't do from game to game which is ridiculous.

Rules are written in black and white and should be called the same way regardless of the player or team. Right?XxGoWingsxX

I agree with what you are saying. The thing that gets me is the consistency. Maltby gives Crosby a whack in Game 4, and nothing is called, yet he does the same thing in Game 5 to Zetterberg, and it's a penalty. I just want consistency.

That said, the Pens were idiots after the score was 2-0 and took many, many mindless penalties. They deserved what they got.

But like you said, the players don't know how to play anymore. And it's not even game to game, it's period to period. Something that wouldn't be called in the first period is all of a sudden a penalty in the third and vice versa. Drives me nuts.

So before you sit there and say I was trolling etc...read this.
