No he didn't produce in the playoffs but I think that Filps can be relpaced maybe not right away but I think he can. Hossa is great player and if he is really willing to take less money to stay a Red Wing than I say let Filps go, maybe we get someon for Filps that can replace him for much less. I doubt that would happen but maybe. Keep Hossa give him another chance. Sign him to a deal but don't put in a no-trade caluse or give him a NTC for the first 2 or 3 seasons of like a 5 to 9 year deal. Hossa HOssa HOSsa HOSSa HOSSA!!!!! To Flip haters: Sorry guys but he's here to stay. Thank God Kenny doesn't read this forum, huh? Flip fits in well with the Wings system, and was one of our most consistent players this post-season. Or are we all willing to basically call it quits on trying for the cup next year without a second line center just to sign hossa? Flip is integral, and I'm sure there will be no arguing this point despite all the logic and evidence from his play this season so I'll just say I can't wait for you all to be proven wrong after Flip has stellar years in his future as a red wing. Take a look at the poll, you're outnumbered. But we're the ones that are wrong right? Filppula is a s***ty finisher, never mind the goals scored this year that scream finishing ability.
