joshy207 156 Report post Posted June 26, 2009 Kolosov has also been listed as Siarhei Kolasau. He's (I think) from Belarus, so depending on which language is used, his name changes. http://www.redwingscentral.com/prospects/kolosov.php

I think he's the one they had listed as Sairhei Kolasau, but changed the spelling. If that helps any.

talex 1 Report post Posted June 26, 2009 Who the heck is this guy? I didn't know we had any russian prospects anymore. Also, looking forward to seeing Sebastien Piche in GR. The kid is big, I watched a bunch of games this year and he has some real potential. He needs to improve his skating and positioning. He is 6'4 and a big 6'4, built like a tank. GROwl 5 Report post Posted June 27, 2009 Sergei Kolosov (called "Coleslaw" by his teammates in GR this year) was probably the most improved Griffin this past season. He's a nice kid who was signed last summer on the recommendation of Griffins coach Curt Fraser who I believe had coached him in Belarus.

Yeah, good catch. I just looked at the dates. 2007, 2008... not sure why they'd list them as recent signings?

No idea either, but these are NOT recent signings, these are the contracts of our prospects.
