Didn't do a god damn thing? Give me a break dude. Ty Conklin won the outdoor game plus 24 other ones. He won 25 games. That's half of their wins. You really think that didnt help them get into the playoffs? You think Jimmy Howard does that? Take away Hossa's goals and the Wings score 249 goals and give up 240. Yeah maybe some guys step it up without him but 40 goals worth? I doubt it.

LOL. I couldn't believe either that I read something along the lines of "whatever it is he [Conklin] did". It is just as much Conklin's fault the Wings even made it to the playoffs as it is Ozzie's. I swear, my Red Wings have some of the most bastard-like, ungrateful fans I've ever seen. I really hope some of these assclowns go off to another team, as they should, when the Wings aren't sitting this pretty. Hossa stunk it up in the playoffs/finals, but had an outstanding regular season like Conklin. I would welcome Sykora, skeptically, of course.

If people are blaming Conklin for not winning the Stanley Cup, then it's safe to say that a few people have completely lost it.

Sykora claims the Wings haven't contacted him:

MLive

Guess we can scratch him off the list then.

Hasn't received an offer, doesn't mean they haven't talked. It could still happen. Wings probably weren't going around offering contracts too much with Hudler' thing not taken care of until the last few weeks.
