BeeRYCE 2 Report post Posted August 19, 2009 It's actually kind of tough when I think about it, but I'm going to throw a curveball and predict Eaves.
Detroit # 1 Fan 2,204 Report post Posted August 19, 2009 (edited) Leino. Helm will contribute, Eaves will contribute, and like my old gym teacher used to say, J-Will will screw the pooch in the corner. Edited August 19, 2009 by Detroit # 1 Fan

I'm inclined to agree but you forget that Williams hasn't been in a corner in years.

jollymania 162 Report post Posted August 19, 2009 Probably Leino, Helm should contribute in the hit column
Lidstrom for life 20 Report post Posted August 19, 2009 Williams, assuming he matches his 47 from last season. I love Helm and I am excited about Eaves but I doubt either of them goes much over the 30 point range (which is ok because thats not their role on this team) As excited as I am about Leino I think if we can get a 20 goal 20 assist season from him that would be fantastic so for now I am saying Williams. Although if Leino impresses in camp and gets put on the 2nd line with Filpula and Franzen to start the year he could exceed that but unfortunately he will probably be on the 3rd line most of the year. tommingthepuck96 1 Report post Posted August 19, 2009 I think williams will see the most ice time out of all of them, including a whole lot of PP time. So probably williams, or leino if he can find his game.
aw1340 0 Report post Posted August 19, 2009 I think it will be Leino. He had 9 points in 13 games last year while playing with guys like Draper and Maltby. Surely with more ice time he will put up a lot of points.
dobbles 252 Report post Posted August 19, 2009 i voted for williams simply because i think he will get the most ice time; especially on the PP. i by no means think he is the most skilled or best hockey player though. my gut reaction was to pick leino as i think the guy has the skills having seen him as an ahl player several times. i think he might get the ice time to make a run for williams total, but being a younger guy might not get there yet. eva unit zero 271 Report post Posted August 19, 2009 Williams. He'll get consistent PP time unlike the others, and will probably be on the same line as Leino most of the time so they will be sharing points a lot of the time. Eaves and Helm will see fourth line duty with Draper and will be playing more defensively.
Bring Back The Bruise Bros 1,029 Report post Posted August 19, 2009 It's actually kind of tough when I think about it, but I'm going to throw a curveball and predict Eaves. i think helm, but i wouldnt be surprised if williams outscores him due to pp time
Konnan511 1,736 Report post Posted August 19, 2009 As others have said, Helm will CONTRIBUTE the most, but between Leino and Williams I think Leino will get more points since I personally feel like he's more adept to getting the grittier goals.
