Your not alone

Came from the same place as all the Hossa haters, when he didn't show up against a team he played with last year (gee... think they might have learned a thing or two about him then?).

So we can't trade Stuart. Fine.

Can we trade Clearly and the rights to Yzerman? I'm thinking we'd get a 1st rounder for, like, 20 years.

I think we deserve picks in return when he moves to GM another team.

they deleted one of my posts too... the mods we're feeling very nazi yesterday apparently

This is the second time tonight I've read you compare the mod's to nazis... gee... I wonder why your posts got deleted. I personally don't consider deleting a few of your posts in any way, shape or form compareable to the massacre of six MILLION people. Please don't get them confused... and for the record I'm not even Jewish.

people are WAY too uptight these days, that was in no way shape or form an anti-semetic remark and anyone who can even connect it to that on any level is grasping at straws - it was made in reference to the totalitarian way of running things in a facist society, not the pointless murder of millions of innocent lives and if you notice the context in which it was compared, it's pretty clear what comparison was being made...

next time I'll compare them to Stalin... oh wait, then I'm comparing them to murderers ot millions of Russian civilians, right?

Or how about Castro... oh, wait, sorry Cubans...

so, please, YOU - don't get those two confused...

you're just flat wrong - even if Lilja NEVER sees one minute of LTIR, dealing Ledba and sending Eaves or Helm down does the job and clears us - use Meech as the swing man... you only need 21 for an NHL roster:

Technically all you need is two forward lines, a D Pairing and a goalie and back-up to dress for a game :sly:

Nah, an active roster must include between 20 and 23 players. Dressing ten players doesn't make a difference to the cap.

How was I flat wrong? You started with the same overage I did, and moved THREE PLAYERS off the roster; Hudler, Eaves, and Lebda. You moved Hudler off and got down to $970k over, then dumped the combined $1.15m of Lebda and Eaves to get under with a 21-man roster that uses Meech as a spare swingman, with $180k of cap space.

My suggestions so far have only involved moving one or two players, and what moves could be made. I have also held back suggestions that did not allow for a 22-man roster as the Wings seem to be in preference of that for this season, and suggestions that did not involve players who had NTCs and did not make enough to clear the overage on their own. Maybe later I'll come up with some three-man deals that could be made to clear the overage and the resulting 13/7/2 roster.

Why would they want to trade him? Yeah he screwed up in game 7 or whenever it was I dont really want to think about it I just remember being pissed at him somepoint during the finals. But he played well overall in the playoffs. Way better than Ericssonand all anyone ever said was how well Ericssonplayed when everytime I saw Ericssonhe was turning over the puck. I think Ericsson will be good or great player though that was just his first run.

how is that a 3 man deal? Holland already said he would move one d-man if Lilja is healthy... so that's a one man move. Then trading Hudler would be the necessary move and the demotion of Helm or Eaves isn't a trade... just a move to GR... that's only 1 guy who is ACTUALLY here...

I suppose it's actually a two-man move thinking about it and comparing it to my earlier posts. The only difference is that the moves I posted allowed for a 22-man roster.

Still, if the Wings' brass wants a 22-man roster, then that deal doesn't work.

All this talk about trading Stuart makes me wonder whether or not he has a no trade clause. Does anyone know if this is so?

Unless I'm mistaken, it is only through this year. He got it so they wouldn't have to move. He wanted stability for his step-daughter.

So, yes. He has a NTC.

Also, Datsyuk is classy.

Ozzie is a possible candidate for the HHOF.

DMac has problems.

Cheli is still not retiring.

Crosby did something newsworthy (like farting or something).
