Guest micah Report post Posted September 4, 2009 (edited) Okay, here's the question. How many-man-games will be missed by Wings players because of dammage they recieved in a fight? We will not count players hurt by checks (legal or otherwise), but we will count games misses as a result of any fight or punch, fair or not. We will not count games missed by Lilja from the scrambled brain he recieved last year. If he comes back and re-hurts his grape in a fight, we will count that. I think 6. It's just been a theme in recent years - the wings lose an amount of man-games do to fight injurries that is out-of proportion to the amount of fighting they do. I hope it doesn't continue. Unfortunately, in the process, his offensive game takes a tremendous hit as his skills miraculously vanish, and he'll wind up scoring around 10 points all year in 82 games. Tootoo will do a cheapshot so awful that it will invoke the anger of gods and the power of pain trian x10 will be released into Ericsson. I agree Tootoo is an experienced fighter, but Ericsson will at least grapple with him and you never know he could land that 1 huge punch. Plus the size advantage, tootoo seems kinda stupid for going with guys 7-8 inches taller than him. Kinda like barnaby going after chara , it doesn't really work, Vlabik must really suck at fighting to have that much reach advantage and apparently lose to tootoo, i remember him getting his face filled in by Godard. But I bet Babcock will have him on a pretty short least like last playoffs. Only wanting him to go with top line guys.
