Almost every topic posted is forced to devolve into a whine fest about toughness thanks to GMR. He never misses a chance to whine. He must have a TON of time on his hands. Must be nice.

As others have stated, I wouldn't take Franzen first round either, but I think if he stays healthy, he will put up really, really nice numbers.

BTW, if you werent' so lazy as to not read my posts, you'd notice that I said Franzen shouldn't be fighting or trying to act tough. So my post was an anti-toughness post as related to Franzen, and not a pro-toughness stance. I'm sure you noticed that, though.

This is all getting really rather tedious. For the record I'm much more concerned about Franzen's questionable work ethic than shying away from post-whistle intimidation. If he stops coasting through games and taking lazy 50 foot wrist shoots I'd be much happier than if he was to try and turn himself in Brendan Shanahan.

But thats the point- certain folks here won't be happy (and won't stop posting about it) till his brain explodes within his skull as he gets pounded to the ice by an opponent who has the fighting skills and mindset that he doesn't

I was hoping to get input of whether or not his goal production will rise or if it will be stagnant due to reaching his peak or not being able to staying healthy. Irrelevant. That's a fallacy anyways, just because it happens in most instances doesn't make it right to do in another. Saying this thread was about Franzen is like saying LetsGoWings.com is a hockey fansite, LGW is a forum directed towards Red Wing fans. This thread is/was about Franzen's goal scoring in regards to a new role and/or whether or not he'd be a suitable pick in the first round of a fantasy draft or even a top 15 pick in a huge pool of participants.
