Bloody hell, Kopecky scored in the shootout and Hawks won Avalanche. It took 8 shooters or so from both teams. Hawks took the lead in Central Division.

Nice game.. The kind of game that the wings will need to stay on the plus side of the ledger. Our top 2 lines outplayed the caps top 2 lines and Ozzie rebounded despite a poor first goal. Bertuzzi looks almost nimble out there and seems to be skating well and back-checking. I like that line alot. Flip and Leino look great together and if Flip decides to take a bag of pucks and learn how to shoot he could be a bona-fide star. The team skated well and seemed first to the puck more often than not. Defense was pretty solidly in front of Osgood.

Perhaps with the Mule going down, they will double their commitment to keeping the puck out of the net..

They played well, but didn't produce much offensively. There was one instance though when Dats and Hank made PK look like PP for half-a-minute or so. Their biggest achievement was keeping Caps' first line off the board. Team defense is what shone tonight.

BJ's won Coytoes 2-0 and took the lead in the Central with six points.

Filppula looks likes a ******* beast out there, anyone notice how physical he's being? Not just hitting (which he is doing), but he's using the body to get a great position on the puck and protecting it well. First star.

I thought Eaves looked pretty good out there. He has alot of speed and I'd love to see him, Helm and Draper on a line together

Pasha just owned AO in this game. Watching AO getting pissed off and slamming his stick (due the back checking against him) against the back of the Wing's goal was priceless. Pasha is just the better round player period.

That was a great game to go to. It was good watching the team play as well as they did. The PK looked like a PP for awhile which was amazing. Leino was all over the puck all night, hes definitely my favorite player out there right now. I loved the lines that Babs went with for tonight as well. It seemed like after the first period they meshed pretty well together.
