Brad May Missing?

Rate this topic

Recommended Posts

May was playing during the second, but probably not much during the third.

Seemed like Babs was putting Zetterberg out there on every opportunity so it doesn't surprise me that the 4th liners got little to no ice in the third.

Was at last nights game, didn't see May after the first period any word on what happened?

He's listed on the Red Wings homepage as a casualty. Apparently last night's game resulted in 6 KIA, 4 WIA and 1 MIA.

Ahh, I swear I seen May play in the 2nd period on a line with Miller...

But at the same time Carlyle was rolling 3 lines and double shifting his top line guys.

Looks like he did play, but not a lot. Guess it had to do with the score and all the shifts the Ducks top line was taking where Babs had to counter which decreased May's ice time.

Datsyuk was taking his place late in the game. They needed offense more than toughness, since it was a back and forth game.

sounds like he's a downey. i miss that guy.

You are going to find that any where. If you have a guy primaraly out there for fighting, and you are in a close game with not a lot of rough play, you want the chance to be able to score on any shift.

Last night's game was really a duel of Anaheim's top line vs Detroit's top two lines. Our 3rd was out there once in a while, but when rolling three lines compared to their one is enough, why risk it with the 4th line, even if the players aren't bad?
