Why did Mickey and company just say that the Wings don't expect to get anybody back until mid January??? Filps should be back within 2 weeks. Mid January should be Williams and mid-Feb Franzen **crosses fingers*

Yeah I was confused too, but I think they were talking about other players besides Filppula... or they forgot about about him???

Probably just a mistake, though usually someone catches it and they correct mistakes later on.

Maybe it's because Williams doesn't count as a real player. So yeah, they probably just forgot Flip.

Filp has about 2 weeks left, give or take a few days. That is going to be a big turning point for us. Throw Filp in the lineup and just look at how much better our lines look.

Holland said the other night (last night?) that he was expecting Filppula back in early January, Kronwall sometime in January, and Franzen in March (because if he's back mid-February, he won't be playing in the Olympics).

Don't get your hopes up with Filppula returning this month.

I sure hope Filp will be back for the 23rd against Chicago. 2 points there will be monumental.

23? why not the 20th?
