He's on the last year of his contract so it wouldnt be 2.5 would it? It'd be pro rated the rest of the, which is affordable. I'd gladly take Ward, espicially now.

you know you're right, I completely forgot about the fact the re-entry waivers reduce the salary by half. In that case, I wouldn't mind at all.

Let's hope its more like kronwalls injury a strain or small tear in MCL , god forbid the ACL -> another franzen-like injury that requires surgery

I meant that they'd only be stuck with the contract until the summer. Even if they took it at 2.5, and not 1.25.

You know, losing Ericsson isn't HORRIBLE. I mean, it sucks that he adds to the already huge list of injuries, but I don't think it'll be too hard replacing him. He hasn't been all that good....
