swiss_fan 3 Report post Posted December 27, 2009 Conz is not so impressive in the swiss championship. Hiller was better at his age. I would be surprised if he would be drafted next year. By the way guys, any of you have a stream link for the WJC? Pleaaaaaase

By the way guys, any of you have a stream link for the WJC? Pleaaaaaase Wasn't Hiller older tho? I think Conz is only 17 or 18 years old and was totally peppered by USA's offense. That kid stood on his head.
swiss_fan 3 Report post Posted December 28, 2009 yes HIller was older. I just don't see a very high potential in Conz. By the way, he lost the starting job in his club last year. No streaming links anyone?

Miller Brew 0 Report post Posted December 28, 2009 yes HIller was older. I just don't see a very high potential in Conz. By the way, he lost the starting job in his club last year. No streaming links anyone? I don't know the details about how he played for his team. I read that his GAA was bad because the team in front of his sucks. But I don't watch Swiss hockey so you would know more than me. But what I saw from this kid today, I would not be upset if Detroit picks him up with a late pick. He was fun to watch and stood on his head. At 17 years old, he'll be a "work in progress", just what Detroit likes. His reflexes was lighting fast. His vision was on. He didn't seem to get rattled. His positioning was questionable on a few shots, but that's to be expected with a kid. He stopped a couple of break aways and he was ready. I don't know, I really didn't see many flaws in his game today.
FinWing 26 Report post Posted December 28, 2009 Not looking good but at least we got a goal back to have some hope in the 4rd.
Miller Brew 0 Report post Posted December 28, 2009 (edited) Nestrasil seems to be playing lots of minutes. He's a relentless backchecker and looks to be defensively sound. His shot is extremely hard and fast; his shot RIPS! He strong along the boards but I'd like to see him drive to the net more. He seems strong @ 6'2 and 200ibs. Seems like a good skater for his size. FinWing 26 Report post Posted December 28, 2009 Finland wins 4-3 despite facing a 3-0 deficit in the 2nd. Czechs didn't get a sniff in the 3rd.
FinRedWing 172 Report post Posted December 28, 2009 There's Finnish sisu for ya. Vatanen played lights out,too bad he's a Ducks draft pick. Granlund can and will be better, but he's only 17 and he did own the faceoff department. Huge win.
Aussie_Wing 354 Report post Posted December 28, 2009 Tomas Tatar has a goal and assist in the 1st, although they're not up against top quality you could say...

Guest Four Report post Posted December 28, 2009 Vatanen looks SICK. Wasn't he drafted by the ducks?
Miller Brew 0 Report post Posted December 28, 2009 Wasn't he drafted by the ducks? Yup. He's a 5'9 @ 160ib defenseman drafted 106th overall. Good pick by the Ducks, though he's only one hit from a career ending tragedy at his size. He was an amazing player yesterday though. http://www.hockeydb.com/ihdb/stats/pdisplay.php?pid=120910

Miller Brew 0 Report post Posted December 28, 2009 Canada is single handily dominating Swiss Cheese. But a couple of those goals would be disallowed if it was Red Wings scoring them like that in the NHL. Officials also seem to be favoring Canada.
