Very bad, very bad, very bad defensive play by Ericsson. One does not vacate the front of the net when there is nobody else there. He has proven time and time again this season that he does not belong in the roster until he improves. I wouldn't mind seeing him benched when Lilja comes back.

That said, all of you who say the team sucks should consider finding a new team to root for if you hate watching the Wings so much.

I blame his on-ice vision for the GWG. Ericsson didn't even SEE Doan. He took another guy Stuart (or someone) already had engaged in front of the net. How is he supposed to clear out someone he can't see?

I'd rather say we don't have the guts.... Lucky bounces are things you can turn your way when you decide to play hard.

Wings are just pathetic.

While it's true that sometimes you make your breaks, sometimes luck is just luck. Yeah Doan did a good thing by going to the net, but that puck was going the other way and bounced RIGHT to him. The shot from the point early was a flutterer, definitely lucky. And Jovo's goal was good positioning by him, but a horrendous bounce right to him. Things woulda been a whole hell of a lot different if a puck hit a shin pad at just a slightly different angle on any one of those goals.

But that's hockey, that's part of what makes it so exciting.

seriously guys, lighten up. if you are seriously upset to the extent that some of you are, get your priorities in order. We are in the playoffs right now, with healthy bodies coming back in the near future. Be glad that we are in the position we are in considering the amount of injuries this team has had this year. Take a deep breath and chill out a bit. It is not the end of the world, after all, it is just a game.
