Holmstrom will not play tomorrow vs. Pittsburgh

As long as Crosby gets Kronwalled and none of our players get turtled, I'll be fine. Wings shouldn't beat the Pens. They're not good enough.

I wouldn't be surprised either way. The Wings like afternoon games and they really have jump in their step time to time against the better teams in the league.

And they shouldn't have beaten the Sharks in San Jose a few weeks ago, they certainly shouldn't have taken Chicago to a shootout and there's no way that they beat LA at home a couple of weeks ago.

One thing I learned about the Wings a long time ago is that they get up for games against good teams.

They will beat the Pens in Pittsburgh.

Stop with the defensive pessimism.

Pittsburgh hasn't exactly been on fire either. They have 6 more points than us and one game in hand, and they play in a watered down Eastern Conference. Also, their special teams have been worse than ours has. I don't see how this game is impossible to win by any means.

1 positive thing, if Homer´s out:

We won´t get any "goaltender interference" call!

That's exactly what I was thinking. That would be almost guaranteed in a game against Pittsburgh.

I'm wondering which ref Bettman's hand-picked for tomorrow's game. LaRue? O'Halloran? Leggo?

Probably all of them.

All of a sudden they just happen to substitute as linesmen.

This is a very descriptive and apt phrase for a whole lotta posters on here. Nicely put.

Is the game at 12:30 or 3pm ?

It was originally scheduled at 3, but since NBC chose it for the game of the week, which means I get to see it on tv, it is changed to 12:30.

All times eastern. I can translate for me since it's only one hour, but you are on your own.

One on tv (if you get it) and the other on computer?

Both on the computer, in different windows (sound muted, natch)?

So you're 6 hours off from Detroit? That makes the translation of times easy.
