ilmickeyli 40 Report post Posted February 11, 2010 Let's go Rangers, Coyotes, and the Oil! The preds have a game in hand (well tonight they are using that game) and we really need them to lose.. With the ducks playing, we have a game in hand on them, but they could tie us in points tonight (but have more wins)... We really need some more help from other teams and need the next two games as W's.

No ?? I agree -- we've had almost too much luck with the Sharks, but let's hope the trend continues... As for the Sens, atleast their win streak ended... ilmickeyli 40 Report post Posted February 11, 2010 Luck? The Wings play their asses off every time we go up against the Sharks. Yes they do.. But I wouldn't say the sharks have played their 'A' game in the previous meetings, either
dat's sick 1,002 Report post Posted February 11, 2010 If we lose against the Sharks and Sens and the teams behind us win, we could be in 13th (!) for the Olympic break. That gives you some perspective on how bad our situation is right now. We really need Nashville to lose tonight.

RedWingsRox 614 Report post Posted February 11, 2010 This is just absolutely so pathetic that we have to watch scoreboard of other teams hoping that others lose so we can stay in the hunt. When was the last time we had to do this ?? 80's
ilmickeyli 40 Report post Posted February 11, 2010 Both the teams we need to lose are currently up 2-1 And yes it is a joke but if the wings have no urgency to win then we must rely upon others

BuckeyeWingsfan80 209 Report post Posted February 11, 2010 Given how bad the Sharks have looked at times against the Blow Jackets, my guess is they'll come out firing tomorrow night. I hope that the Wings do as well for a change.

VM1138 1,921 Report post Posted February 11, 2010 Don't get your hopes up people. Every night we've needed the other teams to lose, they win. Every time we've needed an Eastern team to beat the Western team, the West wins. Every time the Wings have been in position to take advantage of a rare loss for the teams ahead of us, ew lose the next game. And the laws of averages say San Jose is due for a win tomorrow, unfortunately. Oh, and we need to beat Eastern teams, so I have doubts about the Ottawa game as well. The East has just been demolished by the West this year. Definitely not working in the Wings favor. I'm not giving up hope until midway through March.... though I have come awfully close these last few games. The Wings have proven they have a "switch" and I expect to see it earlier this year. wingfan1991 221 Report post Posted February 11, 2010 avs just tied it with 5 min left .. down 3-1 in 3rd scored 2x unreal, no luck whatsoever. nashville beats rangers.. and edm 1-1 against ducks in 2nd. its not about us winning anymore its about others losing, which just does not happen. depressing watching and cursing other teams play and nothing goes our way!
