Here at Central Michigan, Sunday nights are Oldies nights, so you don't want Monday morning classes. Monday is dollar pint night, so no Tuesday morning classes for me! Tuesday night is a wash. Wednesday is free pool night downtown so no Thursday morning classes! Clearly everyone knows Thursday is bar night every where, so no Friday morning classes.

Mindfly, morning classes are not fun when you are hungover, that's why I prefer night classes!

Hmm a bit off topic.. oh well:

What's with all the drinking!? maybe if you went to bed at 11pm instead it wouldnt be so hard to go and study at 8 in the morning ;) But then again perhaps it's a culture thing, for example the standard job here is 7-4 while it's 9-5 in the states or atleast that's what it seems to be...

Hope so! 9 straight wins would pretty much lock things up.

Wings 4: Helm, Lids, Hank, Draper

Flames 3: Iginla x3. Just for the novelty of it.

I will allow this only if a Wing (or two or three) pound the s*** out of him like he did Schneider.

WHO has too long a memory? Not moi!

It'll be real interesting watching how E reacts to Lebda's improved play. This is the type of matchup that E "should" excel at compared to Lebda given the size differential, but whether he takes advantage of the situation is yet to be seen. I know I'll be watching that pairing closely.

Atleast the game is at The Joe so barring an icing, E won't get stuck out there with a bad matchup.

Pfft, how do I get one of those jobs? :D The age-old 9:00-5:00 is a thing of the past...the norm here is 8:00-5:00.

That being said, I work an "8:00-5:00" job and I'm usually at work around 7:30 and don't leave until 5:30.

Dude, everytime Ericsson is on the ice it's a bad matchup.

I wish they just gave him the rest of the year off with these games being so important. Hopefully, he'll add 20 pounds in the offseason and learn the game of hockey before he gets back in the lineup.

The same was said about Lebda until a week ago. Look, I agree that E has looked lost out there but Babs is in a tough situation. This organization thinks E will be a part of their future so they're doing everything they can to get him his experience, but the problem is the Wings aren't in a situation where they can afford his mistakes. The bottom line is after Lilja, the talent of every D-man drops dramatically so no matter who gets put in chances are they're going to play like a 6th Dman.

All you can do is minimize your risk. That's what Babs is doing.

Am I the only one who wants to see a three point game tonight (two for Wings, of course) to put more heat on Nashville? I think a Calgary - San Jose matchup in the first round would be awesomesauce, where Nashville probably falls quietly to the Sharks (or Hawks) in five.

Just going to take a wild guess here.... But yes, you're probably the only one here who wants to see a three point game.
