If Howard was in butterfly correctly he wouldn't have needed to reposition. It went between his glove and pad. He didn't try to move his glove up to stop the shot originally, so I don't see how he needed to reposition based on where the shot deflected.

Besides, the puck went like 2 inches from Duchene's stick before deflecting, and the puck didn't even change direction all that much.

Soff.

He didn't move his glove because he was in position to make the save before the puck was deflected. The puck doesn't have to change direction drastically to find the back of the net.

It's not nearly as bad as the ads on the glass on FSN.
