He drew blood by illegally boarding him, I was under the impression that this would be 4 minutes if not a five minute misconduct... Perhaps, but if that is the case it should be changed. Also, can I play lawyer for a second... If his stick wasn't parllell to the ice and cannot be as such without being lifted to a high level, then would that not be high sticking to cross check Helm into the boards. As blood then followed from the high stick it should be four minutes!!! If the ref deems it a major AND there is an injury, a Game Misconduct is automatically given. Helm wasn't injured, he was just cut. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Had a few gift wrapped odd-angle goals thanks to Backstrom, but even without those, it's been a solid game by the Wings. Although, it feels like this game is taking forever.
