There's plenty of shooting from the blueline with lots of passing from the slot. Great combo if you ask me.

The PP has gotten predictable IMHO. Down 2-0 keep it simple and set up the back door one-timer. They don't do it enough to keep the PK on it's toes so they can more easily concentrate on the blue line bomb.

PP no. 2. Score on this one please guys.

It's been predictable for some time now. Many posters have pointed this fact out before. The Wings work the puck on the outside and look for a screen with a shot from the point. This is not a bad PP strategy but it seems to be the Wings only strategy.

I'm one of them. It makes even less sense to rely on the screen and tip with Homer out. When the PK knows what to expect it's easier to play the odds and clog the shooting lanes.

Which the Pens have done extremely well to this point. The Wings have been forced to the outside and their shots have been largely unscreened.
