wow, nothing like getting two quick goals to take the lead, only to have the defense stand around and watch them tie it back up

Fire McCrimmon.

Yep. McCrimmon really forgot to cover that guy when he was on the ice there. :(

Do the coaches really believe their team gives up 4 goals a game cause of the injuries and think its going to magically change when they return?

No, they are just hoping they will be able to score more, when the injured players come back.

Nobody can keep pace with murph.

He can down a keg on his own in one game and just be tipsy. That is his legend!

I'd love to see a map to McCrimmon's house.

So I could leave a flaming bag of dog s*** on his porch.

Maybe TP his trees too and soap his windows.

(He's a s***ty coach, but I couldn't go much beyond childish pranks. :P)

They must. They're sure as hell not doing anything else about it. Maybe two games in our last 15 have been <4 goals needed for us to win.

Giving up 4 goals a game wouldn't be bad if our D Core wasn't Lidstrom Kronwall Rafalski and our forwards weren't Franzen Filppula Eaves Miller Draper helm who all are taught that defense leads to offense.

If we were the Sens, i'd be content giving up 4 goals a game because my team sucks...but we aren't the Sens.

I guess McCrimmon is trying to institute a floating pylon defensive scheme. For a blueprint just look at a piece of Swiss cheese.

Here's a disturbing trend I've found:
On Dec 26th, the Wings won the game against MIN 4-1. Their next 6 games saw their GAA at or over 3 goals.

That was broken on Jan 8, where the Wings beat VAN 2-1 (OT). Next six games: 3+ GA.

Wings beat NJD 3-1. Guess what's happening now <_< .

When you get to his house to light the dog s*** you will find out that he actually has an escaped penguin from the zoo write his plans out.

Hope people get the reference.

My daughter just sat down and we scored twice. Told my wife she can't go to bed since she's good luck. Now I think I'm in trouble since it's already past her bed time. Oh well, small price to pay.

Tell your wife she can only go to bed if you get to score twice.

Maybe we can get Brian Burke to think that McCrimmon can make Lebda play better so he'll take him off our hands.

Maybe the TEAM defense was that good. Defense takes all the guys on the ice working together.
